Follow the coastline and the submerged coastal path around Combe Martin Bay to the brilliantly named Big Cheese rock. A fun, scenic swim with a proper sense of adventure while remaining close to the coastline.

Suitable for: Swimmers building confidence, developing their open water experience, or wanting to try their first exploratory coastline swim.

Required ability: Able to swim 500m continuously and comfortable swimming in open water with coach support.

Journey from Larkstone through Rapparee and towards Swallows Cove on a rewarding three-bay adventure. With slightly deeper water and a longer distance, this is the perfect next step in your coastline swimming journey.

Suitable for: Swimmers ready to progress from shorter sea swims and build confidence over a longer distance.

Required ability: Able to swim 800m continuously and comfortable spending sustained time in open water.

A playful, shoreline-hugging adventure packed with hidden coves, rocky pools, swishes and swooshes. Journey towards Beacon Point while exploring the dramatic coastline and incredible scenery around Hillsborough.

Suitable for: Confident open water swimmers who love exploring, adventure and swimming amongst the coastline.

Required ability: Able to swim up to 1km continuously and comfortable around rocks, changing water movement and close-coast swimming.

A stunning coastline journey from Hele Bay towards Haggington's beach and Rillage Point. Swim beneath dramatic cliffs, discover a hidden waterfall and enjoy a mixture of coastline swimming and deeper open water.

Suitable for: Confident sea swimmers ready to increase their distance and experience a wilder stretch of the North Devon coastline.

Required ability: Able to swim 1.2km continuously and comfortable swimming in deeper open water for an extended period.

One of our most iconic coastline swims. Journey between Hele Bay and Larkstone, exploring Beacon Point, swimming through and around the rocks and following Ilfracombe's spectacular coastline past the harbour.

Suitable for: Experienced and confident open water swimmers looking for a proper coastline journey and one of Coastal's must-do adventures.

Required ability: Able to comfortably swim 1.5km continuously for the single route. Return swimmers should be comfortable swimming up to 3km in open water.
